SaveGrid FAQ
What the editor changes, how backups work and what to expect from the current PS5 save-editing workflow.
Can I edit a Cyberpunk 2077 save on PS5?
Yes. SaveGrid uses Cyberpunk 2077 Cross Progression: create a fresh manual save on PS5, wait for the cloud icon, then sign in with the same CD PROJEKT RED account. The editor workflow no longer requires a separate Download button.
Which PS5 save should I use with SaveGrid?
Create a new manual save in Cyberpunk 2077 immediately before editing. Keep Cross Progression enabled and wait for the cloud icon next to the save name. The cloud icon confirms that the save has been uploaded and is the version SaveGrid should work with.
What player values can I change?
The current Player screen exposes level, Street Cred, Body, Reflexes, Technical Ability, Intelligence, Cool and the Relic value.
Can I edit eurodollars?
Yes. Eurodollars are shown as a direct numeric field on the Inventory screen.
Can I inspect and change inventory quantities?
The Inventory screen loads items into a readable list and shows a quantity column, making inventory data directly inspectable within the editor interface.
Does the editor create a backup before changes?
Yes. The workflow displays Backup Created before the Editing stage and includes a Restore original action. A separate independent backup is still recommended for important saves.
Can it unlock the Cyberpunk 2077 secret ending?
The Player screen includes a Secret Ending preset described as unlocking Johnny's solo-raid choice for the final mission. Use Preview before applying the preset.
Can it set maximum level and Street Cred?
The current quick preset sets Level to 60 and Street Cred to 50.
Can it add attribute, perk and Relic points?
The current interface includes a Max Unspent Points preset that sets attribute, perk and Relic points to a high editable value.
Can it unlock fast-travel terminals?
The Extras screen includes an optional operation to unlock fast-travel terminals available in the editor database, including supported base-game and expansion terminals.
Will editing a save always be safe?
No save editor can guarantee that every combination of values will behave perfectly in every save. Game patches, installed content and the existing save state can matter. Keep backups and make changes incrementally.
